Welcome to Friday Trulovers and I am finishing the working week with a back to nature wedding theme inspirational shoot. Now the shoot alone coordinated by Vanessa & Caroline – Créatrices de Mariages is beautiful, but when you realise that this is set in Paris, oh my heart melted!
Set in Buttes Chaumont Park in the Northeast of Paris in the 19th arrondissement, it truly feels like you are in the French countryside. Couples with the boho chic French wedding dress, it leaves me excited with anticipation for the blog’s upcoming photo shoot over in the French countryside.
Shoot coordinator Vanessa of Vanessa & Caroline – Créatrices de Mariage, takes us through the concept behind the shoot. Vanessa: “Following some previous work on shoots in beautiful hotels, we wanted to do something different, in the nature, with just a bride and a beautiful dress. The Buttes Chaumont park is just near my house and seemed to be a perfect fit to have a stroll there with October’s last rays of sunshine. It seems like we are not in Paris at all!

We had just a week to organize this shoot, so we gathered vendors that we love. First was the choice of the dress, and we had spotted the Cheverney dress at Christophe-Alexandre Docquin’s boutique, which fitted our desires perfectly in terms of fluidity, softness but yet with exquisite details of lace. The back of the dress is exactly what we searched for as our beautiful model, Camille, has tattoo on her back that we wanted to incorporate. The shoot was back to nature and joyful and our model Camille, smiled throughout the whole shoot, even when the sun started to set and the temperatures dropped.
We decide to set up a tablescape with the peacock theme, which was inspired by the natural elements of this shoot. The gold and black hues add an elegant dimension to the table and the flower centerpiece by floral designer Michael Leal, gave the table more opulence. The peacock and cushions feathers also add some softness in this shoot.
The shoot finished with a swing setting, adding a little poetic touch to the shoot and also showing off the lace details of the back of the dress and Camille’s tattoo.”
Thank you to Vanessa for submitting the shoot and be sure to check out the list of vendors below.
